VoiceBall games (BETA)

Play dice/strategy sports games, with Alexa taking care of the dice rolling, so you can just play and enjoy.

This skill is currently in BETA, with only one simple game so far., to test out interactions and play-ability.

Many more game ideas are in the works, if successful. Feedback and ideas appreciated.

== Batter Up (1 or 2 players) ==
Command:: Play Batter Up
Number of players: 1 or 2
Length: One turn at bat
Goals: Pitcher tries to get the batter out and batter tries to get on base.
Game Play:
The Pitcher should have the Amazon App open to view cards for selecting a pitch.
The card will present a random list of pitches to throw (or you can just say a random number between 1 and 6).
After the pitch is thrown, the batter chooses the a type of swing (currently: swing, swing hard, swing defensively , bunt, or take).
Alexa adds modifier points to the dice rolls based on the pitch and swing (e.g. a hard swing against a fastball provides points in favor of batter, a hard swing against a change up is in favor of the batter) then will roll dice (3d6) to determine if the batter connects with the ball. Another dice will be rolled to determine the kind of hit.
Play continues until the batter gets a on base or is out!
