Voice Dashboard

Dashboard Skill helps Alexa users who want to know the status of their AWS resources through voice experience.

The first time they open the skill, users will be prompted to link their Amazon account. Once they have linked the account. They will need to go through our Skill Website, log in with their Amazon credentials and provide us with AWS IAM credentials (public and private keys). This setup is a one-time process.

Once setup is completed:
The user will be able to ask Dashboard about the status of their AWS resources. For now, we support only CloudWatch Dynamo DB and IAM service. The interaction can go like this:

User: Open dashboard
User: Alexa, ask Dashboard to check if there are active Cloudwatch alarms in us-east-1.
Alexa: You have 2 alarms going off, the first alarm is
DashboardUserInfo-WriteCapacityUnitsLimit-BasicAlarm, the second alarm is DashboardUserInfo-WriteCapacityUnitsLimit-BasicAlarm.
User: Alexa, ask dashboard to describe my current active alarms in virginia
Alexa: The first alarm is DashboardUserInfo-WriteCapacityUnitsLimit-BasicAlarm. It is less than or equal to threshold 240 for around 1 minutes. The second alarm is userInfo-ReadCapacityUnitsLimit-BasicAlarm. It is less than threshold 240 for around 1 minutes.
User: Alexa, ask Dashboard to list my DynamoDB tables.
Alexa: What is the region?
User: Us-east-1 or Virginia
