The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League

Since its formation in 1968, the league has always striven to maintain a reputation for excellence amongst its member clubs and in the administration of the competition.

In light of this, and the ever-changing face of football at our level we have enhanced our website further and joined the Pitchero sports network.

The Evo-Stik League now encompasses 68 clubs across three divisions covering an area stretching from Newcastle to Northamptonshire that houses almost 40% of the country’s population.

This means that some 18.3 million people are touched in some way by the name of the Evo-Stik League, either in print, on the radio, TV, internet or in person on match days. The League has been proud to have its member clubs represent us on a constant basis in the FA Cup main stages, and proud to house our own Academy (The NPL Academy League), and have England standard Players played in our league (Including Jamie Vardy,Craig Dawson,Che Adams to name a few)

This season around 3,000 players will feature in Evo-Stik League matches. They will come from a dozen countries including Egypt, Hungary, Israel, Norway, Slovakia & Thailand, whilst a further 4,000 will play for our clubs’ junior and ladies’ teams.
