The Cardiff Review
The Cardiff Review is a literary magazine that publishes new graduate writing. The magazine was launched with the intent of giving talented students a platform to showcase their work. While we do accept and encourage submissions from all writers, we give precedence to those currently studying a related course at the postgraduate level.
We are a quarterly magazine, including fiction, nonfiction and poetry, accompanied with original illustrations. To learn how to submit your work, visit our submission guidelines.
As a magazine primarily concerned with student writing and the creative process, the way in which we learn to write is important to us. Behind The Desk is an interview series in which we speak to writers about their space, their process and their work. We want to know how writers learn their craft and how they foster it. The Cardiff Review is as much a publishing platform as it is a place where young writers can learn from those with experience in the industry.
The visual art that accompanies each piece of writing in the magazine is produced by art students who are currently completing their degree or have recently graduated. If you are a visual artist who would like to receive call outs from The Cardiff Review please visit our submissions page.
The Cardiff Review is supported by Cardiff University's School of English, Communication and Philosophy.
We accept fiction, nonfiction and poetry.
