Our Kantha quilts are soulfully crafted by the women of North Karnataka region in India. Our quilts carry the legacy, pride, and stories of these women. Unlike the traditional straight quilting stitch, our artisans do a rectangular stitch that is native to their region. The legend goes that this kind of stitch was developed to write hidden messages by the slaves of the region in the bygone era.
