State of Digital Publishing was founded in 2016, with the mission to connecting audiences to stories and solutions.

Initially launching as an industry focused training & online publication, the State of Digital Publishing concept started after having several discussions with digital media and publishing professionals, who expressed their need to better share their learnings with other professionals, increase internal resources, identify emerging opportunities and reduce training onboarding and new sales from tech vendors.

Looking for a solution to the training and on-boarding of the sales side, vendors described their challenges of also connecting with digital publishers to share their learnings and saw the opportunity to help address the resources skills gap.

A community and editorial site is the result and we are looking to grow State of Digital Publishing firstly as a community, in order to bridge the media technology trends, perspectives and news for online publishing and media professionals at whatever level they are.

To ‘Seek An Audience’ refers to the attempt or desire for attention, in order to receive counsel for an act which you intend or about to do. As a community, we take pride in being your audience.
