Shichida Myanmar

Professor Makoto Shichida founded Shichida Child Education Institute, Ltd. (Japan) in October 1978 in Gotsu-City, Japan. In 1980 the first classroom opened for the young children and changed the name as we know now “Shichida Educational Institute (SEI), Ltd. (Japan)”.

The Shichida Method has been taught in over 460 centers in Japan for over 30 years. The Shichida method is spreading not only in Japan but also in other countries.

“Education of the Mind” and “Education to draw out individual talents” of the children are spreading in Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Vietnam and finally in Myanmar.

“Shichida Educational Institute (SEI), Ltd. (Japan)” officially authorized exclusively, “Shichida Myanmar” as licensed education center to teach the Shichida Method in Myanmar. We are so proud to follow the method and lessons program that are developed by the founder Makoto Shichida and improved continuously by the Shichida Educational Institute of Japan based on the researches made during the past 30 years.

All of the instructors at Shichida Myanmar have to went through a formal training in Japan and have passed the proficiency exams given by the Shichida Educational Institute in Japan. Unless the instructors are certified by Shichida Educational Institute of Japan, they cannot be an instructor at Shichida Method. All our instructors are certified by Shichida Educational Institute of Japan. We are also the only authorized center to use or sell original Shichida teaching materials in Myanmar.

Our mission is to offer optimal environment and satisfy children’s essential desires to “know” and “learn” with fun activities as if playing games in “early childhood,” which is most suitable for education.
