Introducing Robinson Forged Metals, located a half mile east of the Washington, D.C. city limits.

Robinson Forged Metals, established in April, 2012, is a studio business that promotes, preserves, and presents the art and craft of blacksmithing locally and nationally. Owner Jesse Robinson designs and builds custom metalwork of all kinds, plus he has an excellent business restoring and preserving historic metalwork.

Robinson apprenticed for seven years at Medwedeff Forge and Design in Murphysboro, IL, with internationally renowned Master Metalsmith and Sculptor John Medwedeff before setting up his own studio/shop here in the D.C. area.

Jesse Robinson has a reputation for fair dealing and works in a cooperative, professional manner with contractors, architects, and individual clients for commercial projects and residential work. Robinson Forged Metals would be happy to prepare a bid estimate for your project idea. Steel, bronze, and other metals are available for custom metalwork, such as: railings, chandeliers, yard benches, sculpture, dimensional metalwork, wall plaques, signs & signposts, gated or non-gated entrances, engravings, and many other items.
