Hi, I’m Mina Fies.

I’m passionate about helping people love their homes again because I know how important it is to feel at home in your home and how the right space can be a source of renewal and restoration for the entire family. Your home is truly your sanctuary.

Unfortunately, most of us don’t live that way. Far too many of us put up with homes we don’t like for way too long because we’re afraid of the remodeling process.

That’s what started this life-changing journey of mine. I became obsessed with taking the mystery out of this process and helping people actually have FUN renovating their homes (you know, like you see on HGTV).

So in 2008, I convinced my brand-new husband Mark into starting a design/build-remodeling firm with me, and we opened Synergy Design & Construction (I told you I was obsessed!). We knew people were suffering through the remodeling process for no reason and that great design and professional project management plus exceptional customer service was actually possible. So we built an incredible team, won a bunch of awards, and have amassed a long-line of raving and fiercely loyal fans-turned-clients-turned-friends.

Eventually, we realized we had a problem. We could only work with so many people in a year. We had a limit. I don’t like limits.

The solution was to share our proprietary system (the Renovation Roadmap™) with the world. So every homeowner, regardless of location or type of project, would have the tools and resources they need to have a great experience renovating – no matter which contractor they used.

One of the most pivotal moments in our journey was when I won a doorprize for a Feng Shui consultation in 2012. It was such a powerful experience; it changed our business and changed our lives forever. I knew I had to learn more and embarked on a year-long journey to become a Certified Practitioner of Interior Alignment® (Instinctive Feng Shui).

Through that process I became keenly aware that embracing the ENERGY in the spaces around us is the key to living healthier, happier, and empowered lives. We need to go BEYOND pretty countertops and new flooring and use our spaces as the catalyst for our own personal transformation.

THAT is what I’m on this planet for.
