Every day, thousands of people have ‘small life emergencies’. They may seem trivial, but for that person, at that time, they would literally pay someone to solve it. From the buffet car unexpectantly closing on a five hour train journey, to running out of wine during a dinner party, to not being able to get food during three hours of back to back meetings. And yet in every one of these situations there is always someone nearby who could help – if only the technology existed to connect them.

Pinga does exactly that – it is better than any competitor because it is peer to peer, it does not rely on a workforce to complete the tasks. We’re quite excited about it because it seems clear that the ‘on demand’ economy is growing rapidly, but no one else has launched a peer to peer variant.

Our hope is that is becomes ‘normal’ to help others nearby and in doing so creates a great feeling of community.
