What is School for Personal Leadership About?

School for Personal Leadership (SPL) is a community of people committed to becoming better leaders of themselves so they can achieve the kind of results they desire in life.

Articles are published every week to get followers interested in the subject of Personal Leadership while a monthly class holds for those who want to know more about personal leadership.

The class holds right here on Facebook and it is facilitated by Mute Efe - Author, Speaker and Trainer.

What is the duration of the class? SPL is an intensive one day class from 8:00am to 4:00pm. It holds on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month or 3rd and 4th Saturday if the month has 5 Saturdays in it.

How do the classes hold? Registered participants are all invited into a closed Facebook group where lecture notes are posted for them to read. There are work sessions for participants to attend to and they can also ask questions which are posted as comments on the work sessions.

Can I participate with my mobile device? More than 80 percent of those who participat in SPL participate with their phones. Though the lecture notes are quite lengthy, they are suitable for mobile devices.

What if I cannot be available on Saturday? Though the class itself takes place on a Saturday, the class remains open till the following Wednesday. So participants who could not complete the lecture notes or due to their schedule could not be in class that Saturday can still access the lecture notes for the next four days. After which the class will be shut down..

Are there school ethics? Yes, there are school ethics just like any well organised institution should have. Some of the ethics include:

1. Zero tolerance for chat words like 4get, luv, 2moro, gr8, etc. All comments and questions must be written in simple and correct English.
2. Work sessions are given for each lecture and are expected to be answered by participants.

How many courses are taught at the school? SPL offers four courses:

1. Personal Transformation and Leadership
2. Personal Leadership and Goal Setting
3. Entrepreneurial Mindset
4. Redefining Purpose

What is the fee? Presently registration fee for the class is N7,500 subject to change at anytime without prior notice to anyone.

Are certificates issued after completing the class? SPL was not designed as a certification program. The courses taught are not meant to boost your CV. Rather they are meant for you to apply them in your everyday living such that people who knew you before can tell that something has changed in how you live your life. So we say in SPL that the change you experience in SPL is the certificate you receive.
