Organising for Change

Founded in 2015 by @MattVersi, OFC is a social impact incubator that combines social media, high tech and political advocacy to develop business orientated solutions to our most pressing challenges.

OFC achieves this through four key ways:

INSPIRING Through knowledge building, OFC lays the foundation for an informed conversation about the most pressing challenges facing our nation. Convening the foremost thought leaders and visionaries across all sectors and industries, OFC aims to inspire fresh and innovative approaches to tackling the big issues.

CONNECTING Through a diverse membership OFC is able to provide a unique platform, online and in the community to connect with a network of motivated individuals across the world. Members are able to engage with leading advocates, policy makers, corporate leaders and prominent philanthropists.

ORGANISING Through a shared sense of urgency, OFC members are empowered to organise, mobilise and leverage each others shared resources and expertise. By combining emerging technologies and grassroots organising, members develop new, specific and measurable impact solutions to major challenges.

COLLABORATING OFC collaborations represent a bold new approach to building partnerships with philanthropic for-profit companies, NGOs and foundations. By facilitating dialogue and providing opportunities to identify partners, OFC collaborations address significant challenges through commitments to change undertaken by partnering organisations. Commitments can be financial or non-monetary, such as providing in-kind support or technical expertise.
