Nexia

To link the skill, you will need to provide the username and password to your Nexia account. You will then select the house on the account that you will be controlling. After that, run device discovery with Alexa and your Nexia devices will appear, ready to control, in your Alexa app.

For a connected switch try:
Alexa, turn on the living room light
Alexa, turn off the living room light

For a connected lamp module try:
Alexa, turn on the Bedroom light
Alexa, turn off the Bedroom light
Alexa, set the Bedroom light to 50%
Alexa, brighten the Bedroom light
Alexa, dim the Bedroom light

For a connected thermostat try:
“Alexa, set Kitchen temperature to 72 degrees”
“Alexa, increase Kitchen temperature by 4 degrees”
“Alexa, decrease Kitchen temperature by 4 degrees”
“Alexa, increase Kitchen temperature
“Alexa, decrease Kitchen temperature”
Alexa, set Kitchen to cool
Alexa, set Kitchen to heat
Alexa, set Kitchen to auto
Alexa, set Kitchen to off

To use Nexia with Alexa you will need a Nexia account with connected devices. To set up your Nexia account, click the “Sign Up Now” button on the mynexia.com website and follow the instructions. From the Alexa app, open the menu and select Skills. Search for and enable the Nexia skill, then log in with the Nexia account credentials you created previously.
