National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre

N/A Facebook Messenger Global Rank

The National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre was established as a result of the response to the Bali bombings in 2002 and 2005. The aim is to enhance surge capacity and provide clinical and academic leadership towards disaster and trauma care. The Centre is funded by the Australian Government and is a key component of their disaster and emergency medical response. This ensures that the Top End and Royal Darwin Hospital are prepared and ready to respond to major on shore and offshore incidents both in Australia and South-East Asia
