My Pod

My Pod allows you to create your own custom playlists using podcast / audio / text RSS feeds, MP3's (and other supported audio streams supported by the Echo), internet radio, audio books and more! You can even add private feeds in the case of subscription based podcasts. Or link to any web site to get Alexa to read the main content text to you.

Audio files and folders shared in Google Drive are also supported (Please note: Right-click on Google Drive file and click 'Get shareable link'). Please note that the Echo does not yet appear to support and work properly with Dropbox or Onedrive links.

It's simple to get started:

1. Enable the skill and link your Amazon account, by signing in via the Alexa app.

2. Visit the companion app and sign-in using your Amazon account to get started and setup your playlists:

3. Once you've added a playlist and some feeds or links, you can ask Alexa to:

- Alexa, ask my pod to play my playlist.

- Alexa, ask my pod to play .

Navigating:

- Alexa, ask my pod for the next link.

- Alexa, ask my pod to play the next playlist.

- Alexa, ask my pod for the previous link.

- Alexa, ask my pod to play the previous playlist.

- Alexa, ask my pod to play my playlist from the beginning.

- Alexa, ask my pod to skip forward 10 minutes.

- Alexa, ask my pod to go back 30 seconds.

As well as the usual audio player commands:

Play, Pause, Stop, Start Over.

My Pod will also keep your place with each link, useful for longer audio such as podcasts and audio books etc.
