I have lived in Greenwood SC since 2011. I moved here from the UK, and after the initial adjustment, I have grown to love this city and the people here. It's a small, friendly town steeped in history and boasts a wonderful scenic lake, state park, and several golf courses. the city is also close to some very important historic sites such as Abbeville, which is the birthplace and deathbed of the Confederacy, and also the Town of Ninety Six with its famous Star Fort. The weather is mild with average temperatures of 68f. The summer is humid due to the proximity of the east coast, but the rest of the year is very comfortable outdoors. The winters being mild with very little precipitation or snow. It really is a great place to live.
