Many of the modern day chronic illnesses that we suffer from as a population today are largely rooted in poor nutrition, eating a western diet, and a sedentary lifestyle. As the father of western medicine Hippocrates states, it is our aim to, “let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food”. While we believe that a whole-foods plant-based diet is central to achieving optimal health, nutritional gaps may still exist in our diet due to limited availability of nutrient-rich foods, exposure to oxidative stress, and the elimination of certain food groups from the diet. Furthermore, living a healthy lifestyle and choosing the right products has become needlessly complicated due to marketing hype, a lack of transparency, and a weak regulatory landscape. We seek to address these challenges by producing simple, functional, and effective products from trustworthy, sustainable sources while striving to create social change toward improving health and wellness on a global scale.
