Alexa and Lux work together to give you effortless control of your home comfort and energy consumption. Use Alexa to quickly set a new temperature or change the temperature by a few degrees.

To get started, enable this skill and link your Lux account. Then, discover your Lux thermostat by saying Alexa, discover devices or by pressing the Discover Devices button in the Alexa app. Once your thermostat is found, you can control your Lux thermostat with commands like these:

- Alexa, set Living Room to 73 degrees.
- Alexa, decrease Downstairs by 2 degrees.
- Alexa, increase Upstairs by 3 degrees.

For more complicated changes or to see your energy consumption, don’t forget to use the Lux App. LUX/GEO will only work correctly with Alexa when powered by a ‘c-wire’ or USB micro power supply. If you are using battery power only, there may be a long delay between speaking your command and your thermostat’s response.
