Little Wooden Toybox

Little Wooden Toybox is a small business based in Perth WA established in 2011. I am a single mother of two beautiful children, both diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). While at university studying a Bachelor of Education K-7, I worked as a Home and Community Carer with over 20 families with children with special needs. After graduating in 2008, my son was born and three and a half years later he was diagnosed with ASD. Who knew after looking after so many other children on the spectrum, that I myself would have a child with Autism? My daughter has just been diagnosed with ASD too, but this time it has come as a relief as we can now get her the help she desperately needs! 'We live life a little differently in our house (with picture strips!) and I understand the pain, joys, challenges, frustrations and rewards of parenting any child, but especially those children with special needs'. Since 2011, the business has grown rapidly in popularity as it brings a fantastic selection of educational and musical toys and resources to young families and businesses Australia wide. Little Wooden Toybox is now giving YOU the opportunity to join the team through Little Wooden Toybox Party Plan; sharing our successes and love of wooden toys with families across Perth and WA.
