Lincoln Way
- Keep connected to your Lincoln Connect vehicle with the Lincoln Way Alexa skill. Lincoln Connect is an optional feature on all 2018 vehicles (excluding the MKT) and on all future vehicles. An embedded modem is an optional feature on select 2015 – 2017 vehicles as well as the 2018 MKT. Lincoln Way works with Lincoln Connect compatible vehicles only.
Lincoln Way users with Lincoln Connect compatible vehicles can use the Alexa Voice Service to issue a variety of remote commands and obtain vehicle information, such as vehicle range/fuel level and odometer reading. The Lincoln Way skill allows you to give commands, such as:
Start Engine
“Alexa, ask Lincoln Way to start my car with PIN 1234.”
Stop Engine
“Alexa, tell Lincoln Way to stop the engine.”
Lock Vehicle
“Alexa, ask Lincoln Way to lock my vehicle.”
Unlock Vehicle
“Alexa, tell Lincoln Way to unlock my car.”
Last Command Status (used after lock/unlock and start/stop commands)
“Alexa, what is the status of my last command using Lincoln Way?”
Vehicle Mileage
“Alexa, ask Lincoln Way for the odometer reading.”
Vehicle Range
“Alexa, ask Lincoln Way how much gas do I have?”
Tire Pressure
“Alexa, ask Lincoln Way is my tire pressure low?”
Selected Vehicle
“Alexa, ask Lincoln Way what is my primary vehicle?”
List Vehicles
“Alexa, tell Lincoln Way to list all cars on the account.”
Switch Selected Vehicle
“Alexa, switch my primary vehicle using Lincoln Way.”
To use this skill:
· Enable the Lincoln Way skill
· Log in to your Lincoln Way account within the Alexa mobile app using your Lincoln Way username and password
· Set a PIN to help protect access to certain features when using the skill
· Select your vehicle that you want to interact with
· To get help at any time, just say “Alexa, ask Lincoln Way for help.”
