IMDA Lab on Wheels

The IMDA Lab on Wheels is an industry led initiative together with the Government, aimed at seeding students’ interest and exciting them to study technology, igniting the young’s passion for tech via engaging and experiential activities such as coding games, robotics, 3D technologies, electronics, programming of drones and experimenting with wearables.

The Lab on Wheels programme first started with a single bus in November 2014. As of June 2016, it has received an overwhelming response from the participating schools, visiting 90 primary schools and conducting workshops for over 25,000 students.

With four buses in the fleet, of which the latest bus 4 being designed to be inclusive towards people with disabilities, Lab on Wheels will now have a larger presence in schools and more frequent engagements with the public.
