IKEA TRÅDFRI

Welcome to TRÅDFRI – IKEA smart lighting. This skill will enable you to ask Alexa to control your connected IKEA smart lighting devices – such as TRÅDFRI, FLOALT, JORMLIEN and SURTE – by voice.

Use your Alexa-enabled devices to design the lighting you want for every mood. With this skill, you can choose a light for early mornings, another for late evenings and a third for cooking or working at home – using only your voice. Alexa voice commands let you dim, turn off, turn on and switch your TRÅDFRI bulbs from warm to cold light.

TO GET STARTED:
Select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Alexa App to link the “TRÅDFRI IKEA smart lighting skill” with your Amazon account. Then open the TRÅDFRI app and go to the settings menu to activate Amazon Alexa. You’ll need to enter your Amazon username and password here.

When this is completed you can discover your devices by saying “Alexa, discover my devices” or by using the Alexa app.

Here’s a handy list of voice commands you can use with Alexa and TRÅDFRI to control the lighting in your home:
• Alexa, turn on the Bedroom lights
• Alexa, turn off the Bedroom lights
• Alexa, dim the Living Room lights
• Alexa, dim the Living Room lights to 25%
• Alexa, make the Living Room lights softer
• Alexa, brighten the Kitchen lights
• Alexa, brighten the Kitchen lights to 75%
• Alexa, make the Kitchen lights warmer
