I heart Reykjavík

My name is Auður and I’m a thirty-something blogger, e-marketing consultant, university student and all around badass. Actually, that last thing is a lie. I’m more like a kitten, really.

I live in Reykjavík Iceland with my awesome family and we love to explore our country. I also love to write and this blog combines these two passions.

Although the blog is called I heart Reykjavík you can’t talk about Reykjavík without mentioning all the amazing wonders that can be found just outside of it. The blog has inspired me to explore more of Iceland and of course I want to share my findings with you all.

I’ve been immersed in Icelandic tourism for just over 9 years, both as work and a hobby, and I’ve been blogging about life in Iceland since 2003. I’ve traveled quite a bit around the country, and around the world, so I have a fairly decent knowledge of what it is like to be a traveler in this beautiful country.
