Home Connect Dishwasher

Home Connect is available to use with a wide range of connected home appliances from Bosch and Siemens. With this Home Connect Alexa skill, you can control and monitor selected programs and functions of your dishwasher with the Home Connect function via Amazon Alexa.

Please be aware that the skill might not support all home appliance features as available in the Home Connect app. We are continuously working on new version releases to improve and enrich the skill experience. Furthermore, as home appliances are not part of the Alexa Smart Home program, you’ll need to use ‘Home Connect Dishwasher’ as an invocation name to launch the skill.

How to:
This quick tutorial will give you an overview of the supported features in the Home Connect Dishwasher Skill. Be inspired and have fun exploring the skill.

If you’re not familiar with the skill, simply start off by saying:
‘Alexa, start Home Connect Dishwasher’ or ‘Alexa, tell Home Connect Dishwasher to start’
Alexa will start the conversation right away, guiding you through all the necessary steps.

Once you’re familiar with the skill, try something more advanced like:
‘Alexa, start Home Connect Dishwasher and use Normal’
This shortcut allows you to set your values quickly. In case Alexa does not catch all of the values properly, the assist mode will automatically guide you further.

Further tips:
- If you don’t know the proper response to a question, just wait a few seconds and Alexa will tell you a range of possible options.
- If you want to speed up the dialogue, just interrupt by saying ‘Alexa, ...’ and your preferred command.
- If you want to abort the session, just say ‘Stop’ or ‘Alexa, stop’.
- In order to use this skill, you will need to link your Home Connect account to Alexa. You can register an account in the Home Connect app. Please also make sure that you have paired your dishwasher with the Home Connect app.
