Take control of your home theater experience with the HEOS Home Entertainment skill for Alexa. Beyond providing seamless multi-room music enjoyment, HEOS now comes equipped with the added control of Alexa for your favorite audio and video content.

Get great sound quality hands-free from the extensive range of HEOS devices as well as Denon and Marantz models with HEOS inside.

Ask Alexa to increase and decrease volume, switch inputs, mute and unmute, play, pause or continue and more. That’s right… there’s no need to rely on your remote control when all you need to do is ask Alexa.

COMING SOON: Use voice commands to search for songs, albums, and artists as well as podcasts and internet stations, etc. Stream music to your HEOS compatible devices by voice.

NOTE: Alexa is still learning all the ways you might ask to control your HEOS device. If she doesn't understand your commands, try some of the example phrases on this page: http://www.heoshome.com

GETTING STARTED
STEP 1: In the HEOS app
Go to Settings-->My Devices.
Choose an easy-to-say name like Living Room or Kitchen for each HEOS device.
Tap the checkmark when you’re done to save the new name.

STEP 2: If you already have Alexa set up
Say “Alexa, discover my devices”

NOTE: Whenever you change the name of one of your HEOS devices, you’ll need to ask Alexa to rediscover your devices so she can find the new name.

NOTES: Seeking within tracks: “fast forward” and “rewind” are not currently supported by this skill, but is supported through the HEOS app. “Next track” and “Previous track” are supported.
HEOS speakers have smart automatic power management. The speakers can be left plugged in and do not require explicit power on or off.
When using Mozilla Firefox to enable the HEOS Home Entertainment skill, it may take multiple clicks to operate the Sign in as a different user link.
