This was the goal set forth by two friends, Ben Thompson and Ross Bayley in 2008 which led to the development of HardwoodBargains.com - an online tool for flooring education and sample requests. Allowing people to see and feel the products in the light of their own home would aid them in making an educated decision about a product they could potentially spend the next several decades of their life with. They've grown the company in just a few short years from an operation that sold small quantities of flooring locally, to a nationwide retailer whose customers purchase several million square feet of flooring per year.

This expansion has come with the added benefit of some of the most cutting edge technologies in flooring retail. Our customers now receive up to date statuses of their projects and delivery through our integrated flooring project management software. This allows for timely & safe deliveries to anywhere in the continental United States.

Ben, Ross & Mike recognize that purchasing flooring can be both confusing and stressful, so they've made it their job to make the process as easy and seamless as possible for their consumers.

Upon requesting samples of their products (which are shipped via Fedex at no charge to the consumer) a dedicated flooring specialist is assigned to their project. This specialist will walk the consumer through every aspect of the flooring purchase decision process, and ensure they've chose the right product for their project.

They've also built relationships with many high quality flooring manufacturers, and have been able to pass along savings on these products due to the high volume of flooring they sell. The same holds true for freight carriers who deliver the products to the consumers doorstep. Not only have they reduced the typical freight charges, but they also cover a portion of the shipping costs with each order.
