Hi there,

nice to meet ya and let me introduce myself: My name ‘s Greg and I’m a pretty normal American dude living and working in Germany. Well not quite normal, I’m a sysadmin, which makes me rather extraordinary. But other than that, I’m like everyone else – sleeping, eating, working, repeating. The usual. How did I end up in Germany, you ask? Well, that’s a long story… Let me make it short!

I was born in California and lived there for a long, long time. I worked with the PRTG System at my old firm. We worshiped PRTG back then. I knew they were located in a small beautiful town in Germany called Nürnberg. When the time came and my girl and I wanted to move to Germany because of her job, it all just happened. I remembered PRTG being based in Nürnberg, where my girl worked. So I applied. And it worked out very well. Back then, I planned on staying for just a few years. It’s been 4 years now and I still love it.

But don’t get me wrong, I still miss California. Above all I miss my favorite beach “San Onofre” and the Mexican food at Pedro’s Tacos. But Germany has perks of it's own, which I like a lot. That's why I'm pretty happy right were I am!
