Greenpeace Canada Facebook Community Policy:

Our Facebook page is designed to communicate with people who have liked our page and who want to be informed about the environmental campaign work that we do. It is also a place where you can engage with us and with others, and discuss matters relating to the environment or causes that matter to you.

Although we try to almost never ban people or delete posts, from time to time, there will be a few individuals who:

-post content that is designed to promote unrelated services that could be seen as spam. -use abusive language on the posts shared, that could hurt the sentiments of others. -unnecessarily attack someone's religious, cultural, national or lifestyle beliefs and practices. -abuse other individuals within the page. -post pornographic or graphically violent images, unrelated to the page's current content.

When we see any of the above-mentioned activities on the Greenpeace Canada page, we will remove the comment. Repeated occurrences of such behavior may lead to a ban. If this happens we will be transparent about the reasons, and we will always try and engage someone first (apart from spam posts), often we will ask to continue the discussion over email so that single conversations do not end up dominating the community.

All we ask of you is to maintain the integrity of this page, with posts and comments that are respectful and relevant to the campaigns that we work on. Of course a healthy debate is always welcome!
