Game Master

Has your board game night ever stalled because your group can't decide what to play? Let Game Master take charge. Game Master will help your gaming group choose a random board game to play based on your BoardGameGeek.com collection.

A public BoardGameGeek.com account is required to use Game Master. Of course, this account needs to have games in its collection.

In order to configure Game Master, you will need to add your BoardGameGeek.com user name to your Alexa To-do List in the following format: 'BGGUSERNAMEmyUsername'. For example, if your user name is 'GamerMasterDrizzt1988', you should add a To-Do List Item: 'BGGUSERNAMEGamerMasterDrizzt1988'. Remember to be careful to get the casing correct! To continue using Game Master, this item must remain in your To-Do List.

You will also need to give the app read permissions to your lists. Only items in your To-Do List beginning with 'BGGUSERNAME' are used.

Once your user name has been configured, try it out! Say something like: Alexa, ask Game Master to choose a game.
