Frisson Comics

Frisson Comics was formed in 2016 by artist Katie Whittle and Writer Tom Smith through a mutual love of all things horror.

Katie is a dedicated Liverpool born artist and member of ROAD Studios Art Collective. She has a BA in Illustration and Animation, an MA in Aesthetics and will soon complete her second MA in Illustration.

Tom is a writer hailing from Pontefract, West Yorkshire, but is currently based in Liverpool. He has a BA in Film Studies and Creative Writing.

Their first project is; Take Only Photographs, Leave Only Footsteps - a graphic novel about the horrors of the sea and the consequences of disrespecting nature. A Kickstarter Campaign has been set up to fund the publication of this project running from the 25th of April until the 25th of may. Details of which are sure to follow.

Katie and Tom have several other future projects lined-up and are eager to collaborate with like-minded artists.
