Freeway Music is a full service Music Lesson School. Here are somethings that set us apart:

1. Locations: We have five locations in the greater Columbia area: Northeast, Downtown, Irmo, and Lexington. We've grown from 1 to 5 locations in just 5 years, making Freeway Music the fastest growing Music School in SC.

2. Instructors: We have close to 50 instructors at our various locations. Our instructors are some of the most qualified instructors in the are. They don't teach music, but they perform regularly, and are active participants in Columbia's music scene and community.

3. Performance: Performing is a crucial part of our program. We have recitals and showcases periodically throughout the year. Each performance is held at an appropriate venue to match the instruments. For example, our full band showcases are held at the Music Farm, whereas our piano recital may be held at The USC School of Music. Special attention is given to each performance to create a unique experience for all students. Our students also perform in local festivals, parades, and various other community events.

4. Instruments Taught: We are a full service studio, meaning you can take music for any instrument, any style, and at any level. We currently offer lessons for: guitar, bass, voice, piano, drums/percussion, strings, woodwinds, ukelele, mandolin, brass, banjo, and even DJ lessons. We cover more instruments that most music lesson schools. We also offer Rock Band classes, Preschool Music, Camps, and Clinics.

5. Facility: All of our facilities are clean, top notch, and professional. We have taken special care to assure that all of our studios are equipped fully to better enhance your lesson experience.

6. Vibe/Atmosphere: This one may not be as visible, but if you ask anyone who has taken at our music school about their experience, they will mention it. We encourage a very open and positive learning environment, catering to the students wants and needs simultaneously. We use the freeway aproach. We let students grow organically in the direction they want to grow, while equipping with the fundamentals they need. We also pride ourselves on, just like a freeway, getting people to their music goals faster.

7. Student Perks: We have developed great relationships with Archer Avenue Recording Studio and Sims Music, allowing our students perks for recording and buying instruments.
