Food & Drug Recalls

It can be hard to stay on top of the sporadic release of product recall alerts. Most of us won't hear about these recalls unless we happen to see them on the news. Food & Drug Recalls provides a quick way to scan for recalls that are pertinent to you, your family, and your pets. Simply provide a time frame (the default is one week), and Recalls will aggregate recall and market withdrawal alerts from foodsafety.gov (maintained by the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Although this skill provides a quick & convenient lookup capability, it is not meant to replace the authoritative and detailed government databases from which it draws.
