Exchange Student USA

We are Exchange Students of the USA – a title that will follow us for the rest of our lives; in communities, at family gatherings, and on our resume. It is a title that describes a certain life-changing experience. While it can be a feeling that is quite hard to describe, we will attempt to anyways whether you are looking to become an exchange student, you are, have been or simply dream about being so.

Exchange Student USA is founded by former exchange student Dayanan John Baptist to function as a community filled with inspiration, relatable pictures, and overall guidelines to add the ‘extra’ in extraordinary that describes your year. Some of us are students at the moment, others finished that year five years ago. The feeling never dies.

Meanwhile it will also be a platform – your personal flashback – to your experience years after you gave your friends and host family your final goodbye(for now). Every exchange year is different and we love all the photos and thoughts received from you guys!

The year is about sharing; sharing your culture and earlier everyday life in exchange of a new culture. We are forever a community of travellers, explorers, pattern-breakers, achievers and most importantly; lovers of multiculturalism.
