Chinese students abroad face considerable difficulties in America. Many of their stories sound tragically similar: a student travels around the world only to struggle tremendously in school with a language and culture they’ve yet to learn. The natural sciences may come easily, but literature remains an uphill struggle. And the available aids no matter how well meaning often fail to communicate since they’re written for native speakers and assume a level of cultural knowledge. Under the stress of these conditions, many isolate themselves or worse: surrender all together.

At Doya, we understand these unique problems and are dedicated to the academic and social success of international students in America. Our passion is to systematically identify and solve the hurdles of international study and, by doing so, enable students to have an awesome and enriching academic experience abroad.
