CE Smart

The CE Smart Skill allows total voice control over all your CE Smart devices using Alexa. Enjoy hands free control over your home lighting, fans, and other products plugged into your CE Smart Wi-Fi plugs using Alexa voice commands.

Here’s a step by step guide:
(1) Download our CE Smart app in Google Play or iOS App Store.
(2) Launch the app and register a new account (or login if you’re already registered).
(3) Turn on CE Smart devices and connect them to your phone or tablet with the CE Smart app.
(4) IMPORTANT: You can rename the devices in the CE Smart App. For example, if you rename a smart plug “Living Room Lamp”, then Echo will get that same name after it discovers the device in Step 9.
(5) Download the Amazon Alexa app from Amazon Market, Google Play or iOS App Store, and connect Echo with the Alexa app.
(6) Click on the Alexa App Menu in upper left corner then click on the Skills directory.
(7) Search the Alexa Skills directory for CE Smart.
(8) Click Enable in CE Smart skill screen, and then input your account username and password, include country code if using phone number, on the linking page. Click Link Now. Message displayed reads, “To continue, close this window to discover devices you can control with Alexa.” Click Done.
(9) Click Discover Devices or let Alexa do it by saying to Echo, Alexa, discover devices.” Alexa responds “Starting Discovery, This can take up to 20 seconds.” Wait until Alexa says Discovery is complete.
(10) Setup is complete. You may now talk to Echo with Alexa voice commands to control your devices.

Here are the voice commands CE Smart uses:

Plugs:
* Alexa, turn on ________ (exact name you give to CE Smart plug, i.e. “Bedroom Lamp”)
* Alexa, turn off ________ (exact name you give to CE Smart plug, i.e. “Bedroom Lamp”)

It is suggested to name your CE Smart Wi-Fi plugs by location and description. You may connect multiple CE Smart Wi-Fi plugs and control all of them using this one app.
