Cameron Conaway

Cameron Conaway is a content marketing leader and a top 50 content marketing influencer. He lives in San Francisco and is the Director of Content at Reflektion.

An award-winning poet, essayist, and international investigative journalist, he's the author of five books, including Malaria, Poems, a Best Book of 2014 by NPR.

Cameron's writing has been submitted for a Pulitzer Prize, nominated for a National Magazine Award and a Pushcart Prize, and has appeared in Newsweek, The Guardian, Reuters, NPR, Forbes, The Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, and Stanford Social Innovation Review, among others.

He's led the content marketing strategies of and created content for SaaS startups, recognizable brands such as Cadillac and Jameson Irish Whiskey, nonprofits such as the United Nations Foundation, and charities such as Rotary International.

These experiences, paired with content marketing certifications from the HubSpot Academy and Content Marketing University, have built him into a versatile, data-driven, and empathic content marketing leader.

Conaway’s editorial leadership was forged through years of experience as a college English instructor and journalist.

As a journalist, he's received the Daniel Pearl Investigative Journalism Fellowship—an honor given to one journalist each year—and grants from the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and the International Reporting Project.
