Brinkley BEST

Brinkley BEST is designed to help students become responsible individuals and to make decisions. Students are responsible for choosing and carrying out projects that serve a real need in their community. Students work in collaborative groups using technology to carry out their service projects. Students teach themselves, at their own pace, how to use the technology available. Hands-on learning is the theme in this course. The facilitator, trained in the EAST process, guides the students in the classroom. Self-motivation, a good work ethic, and a desire to make their community a better place are the prerequisites for this class.
