Boston College Calendar

The Boston College Calendar skill allows you to stay up-to-date on the latest BC events. This skill provides information on campus events, important deadlines and sport games. Just give the skill a date, whether that be today, tomorrow or a specific date, and it will fetch what is important for you to know. You can even get more information by asking for a description of one of the events that was read to you.

Once enabling the skill on your Alexa-enabled device, activate the skill by saying “Alexa, ask Boston College Calendar …” or “Alexa, open Boston College Calendar and …” combined with a phrase. Here are some phrases to try out:

-“what is happening today.”
-“what is going on tomorrow.”
-“give me the events for August 15, 2017.”
-“yes, give me more information on Event Number 2.”
-“yes, Event Number 4.”

The skill is also compatible with the Amazon Alexa mobile app, so you can get written information about your request. Furthermore, when asked about a specific event, the Boston College website URL for that event will appear on your mobile device.
