Avi-on Smart Home

With the Avi-on skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Avi-on compatible devices by voice. To get started, select the ‘Enable Skill’ button in the Alexa App to link your Avi-on account and discover your devices. When using the skill, you need to specify by name which device to use. There are two ways to define these names:
· We recommend using the device and group names you set up already in the Avi-on mobile App. – these are shown in the Avi-on app and can be changed there anytime, or
· Create an Alexa group, and add the device to the group. This will work but the dimming performance will not be as synchronized as with Avi-on defined groups. More information is available at http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups

Once you have set up the name or group of your devices in Avi-on, you can say the following:
Alexa, turn on the coffee pot”
“Alexa, set the kitchen lights to 50%”
“Alexa, dim/brighten the bedroom lights”
