Atlantis Sea Colony

In the mid 90's the dream of an underwater home came to the creator of ASC. He envisioned the ability for a person to travel and stay in a hotel underwater as easily and freely as someone travels to a hotel in a foreign country. Twenty years later this vision has not died.

We have seen many other ventures to build underwater hotels come and go. It is a difficult and expensive endeavor. However as technology has changed and knowledge has increased the possibility of living beneath the ocean is finally achievable.

For over a half a century mankind has been attempting to live and work beneath the waves. Jacques Cousteau and the Conshelf experiments laid the foundation for all other habitats since then. As well as for the past 30 years the Aquarius Reef Base has been stationed off Florida's coast while many a diver has used its facilities to run a plethora of scientific research.

We are more than tourism and research though. The ocean is vastly unexplored and the only way to change this is to live there.
