ASUS ROUTER

Now you can control your ASUS router through the Alexa Voice Service (AVS). Get the most out of the voice-enabled cloud service by pairing an Alexa-enabled product with a supported ASUS router. The convenience of voice commands means you can get things done without lifting a finger. Alexa is adopting new skills all the time, and now by activating the ASUS Router Alexa skill you can tell her to suspend the Wi-Fi on your ASUS router for a family dinner without interruptions, or enable the guest network when hosting a party.

To get started, refer to the following steps to link Alexa to your ASUS Router to enable the ASUS Router Alexa skill.

1. Connect either your PC, notebook, or mobile device to your ASUS Router.

2. Enable the ASUS Router skill by one of two ways:

2.1 Ask Alexa to enable ASUS Router skill by voice command: “Alexa, open ASUS Router skill”
(Instructions on how to link your ASUS router are sent to your Alexa account. Just log into your Amazon Alexa account from any of your devices to find out more.)

2.2 Visit Amazon Alexa on your PC or notebook, or launch the Alexa app on your mobile device, search ASUS Router skill, then click on the Enable Skill button. Your ASUS router is now linked with your Alexa account.

3. If asked to enter the Alexa activation code, log into your router’s web interface to find it. Go to Advanced Settings → Alexa & IFTTT and click on Advanced in the bottom right corner, your Alexa activation code will be shown.

4. Try saying “Alexa, ask ASUS Router” to find more skills.

The following ASUS Skills are supported on ASUS Router :
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to turn on the Guest Network.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to turn on the Guest Network for 3 hours.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to turn off the Guest Network.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to pause the Internet.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to resume the Internet.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to turn on the Game Mode
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to turn on the Media Mode
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to match a new device. (enable WPS)
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to start again.
• Alexa, ask ASUS ROUTER to upgrade the firmware.
