Alicia Barr- Teacher Mom Strong

Hi! I'm Alicia. I'm a wife, mom of two young kiddos, and a high school special education teacher. After giving birth to my second baby, I was drowning, to say the least. I was barely sleeping, trying to figure out how to parent not one, but two kids under 3, and give my best to my students at school. I felt overworked, under appreciated, and burnt out in my job. I was exhausted when I got home, and felt like I had nothing left to give to my kids. I had a choice. Just keep trying to hold my head above water, or find a way to take care of myself so I could give my best to my own children, and my students.

I stumbled across an at-home workout program, and decided to give it a whirl. I fell in love! I learned how to eat properly so I had energy to get through my day. I found a way to incorporate quick workouts at home to strengthen my body and mind. I FINALLY found a way to fill my OWN cup so I could pour into those of the people who counted on me.
