A Pedestrian People
The term “pedestrian” carries with it two meanings for the bloggers.
Pedestrian People = a commonplace people. This is not a blog for “hoity-toity” discussions about God, doctrine, or who has the “right” interpretation of sacred texts. This blog is intended for commonplace, everyday people who feel a deep connection with something spiritual, something greater than themselves, and who want to delve into that a bit. We seek to explore deeper meaning of life, how spiritual practices might contribute to personal and communal well-being, creative actions we can take to make the world a better place, and innovative avenues for the church to consider in the present and future.
Pedestrian People = people on the move. We believe that spirituality leads us towards movement, both physically in the world, and as part of our spiritual journey. This blog will provide a means for discussion, sharing of ideasm and how technology/social media can be used to build community and create positive change in our communities and world.
