WorkerHealth is a USAID-supported program to help women, particularly garment factory workers, to have better access to quality health services that meet their needs and improve their reproductive health. There are over 600,000 female garment factory workers in and around Phnom Penh and it is estimated 400,000 currently do not utilize family planning services. WorkerHealth aims to work with private providers to reach these garment factory workers with quality family planning information, counselling and services.
WorkerHealth is managed by Marie Stopes International Cambodia and the Population Council’s Evidence Project. Both organizations have successfully worked in the garment factory sector for over 6 years.
